Hawaii 86’s – Justin (Part 1)

Whenever I’m able to stopover in Hawaii, I’m always in search of quality backyard builds. I’ve always respected the people who put their blood, sweat and tears into their builds, and to see them rolling on the streets is even more beautiful. I saw shots of Justin’s Hachi, under a fresh new coat of paint, from a recent Hachi car meet that happened about a month ago on the island. After getting a hold of him for a shoot, he was also able to get Al out with another one of Hawaii’s cleanest Corolla’s I’ve seen. Seeing these cars in person made me realize that there are enthusiasts from the islands who can step up to the plate and produce quality builds that are right up to par with the builds I’ve seen in Japan. It’s a shame that these cars can’t roll through the touges in Japan with a whole fleet of its other Japanese counterparts, they would fit right in with the rest.
